Our cruise ship stopped for 3 days in St. Petersburg and we opted to travel by high speed train for a day in Moscow. ELENA met us promptly and welcomed us in perfect English. The tour was beautifully organized–van took us first to stunning view points to get the lay of the beautiful land, then we zeroed in on the magnificent cathedrals, the Kremlin areas, the State Armory, Red Square, even a metro tour, with Elena’s knowledge of art and history making every site come alive. We covered a lot of territory, including a fun lunch stop in the famous Gum department store. Elena took us back to the train station and made sure we boarded before she said goodbye. All in all, a breathtakingly informative and awe-inspiring day.
